On Monday, October 20, 2025, at 10:00 a.m., Lanita and Matt will lead the seminar “Facing the Future Unafraid” in Fellowship Hall. This is a class she developed while here as our associate pastor to help make pre-planning arrangements for end-of-life. It is important that we talk about these issues while we are healthy, rather than facing decisions when we have received a diagnosis or are feeling the crush of natural aging. The seminar will address advanced directives and the language of them, hospice care, and funeral/burial planning. It may not seem like something you want to talk about, but it will be a gift to your family to have it all pre-planned. Please sign-up in the Narthex so we can prepare enough handouts for everyone.
Operation Christmas Child shoeboxes are available in the Narthex, Library hallway, and adjacent to the front office for you to pick up. Please return filled shoeboxes to the Sanctuary on Sunday, November 10.
